A couple of months ago I gave the Marden Girls an opportunity to take part in a Marden Movie Competition in which they could create movie about any aspect of life at Woldingham. We had some amazing entries summing up the qualities of Marden girls as well as interviews and a tour of Marden. However, congratulations to the following girls who won with their video showing us a day in the life of a Mardener. As a result they will feature on the blog.

  

On Friday 24^th March we enjoyed a Marden Games evening that consisted of activities such as badminton and dodge ball. We had lots of fun as was a nice way to spend time together before the Easter Holidays.  I hope you like the photos. Sophie

Last term we all enjoyed a Marden Movie night.

Marden Movie night was amazing. We had lots of lovely snacks at the start including delicious sandwiches with a wide variety of fillings. The movie was great fun and was full of emotions. The Marden Movie Night gave me a chance to spend time with my friends outside of school and relax a bit.

During the holidays I went to Greece.  The sunsets were so pretty and the beaches were so nice. The food was so delicious there and I had a great time so would love to go again.

When the summer had only just began my family took to the sky on our flight to France.  We spent two weeks in the hot country.  We were staying in the South of France in the Dordogne.  We went canoeing twice and got a free pass to a water park.  The weather was so hot that if you took your shoes off in the go-karting arena you burnt your feet. 

Madeleine

During the 10 week summer holidays I travelled to Cancún Mexico.  The weather was exotically hot - well over 30◦C.  I swam with dolphins and snorkelled with turtles.  Also I visited some Mayan ruins.  Altogether it was an amazing holiday.

During the summer holidays I went to Corfu.  I went to a water park called Aqualand where I went into a wave pool and went on loads of slides.  My favourite slide was called Kamikaze and it has an almost vertical drop.

NICOLE

At the beginning of the summer holidays my family and I went up to Watford to go to Harry Potter Studios.  It was an amazing experience, especially for a HUGE Harry Potter fan like me.  There was so much to see from models to Hagrid's Hut, to the Knight Bus.  It was incredible.  You even get a video filmed of you on a broom in Hogwarts robes.  And as for the surprise at the end...!
